RIVERSOUNDS

Nestled in the heart of picturesque Bellingen, I could feel the anticipation building as I made my way to the River Sounds festival. With my camera in hand, I was pumped to capture this post-pandemic musical extravaganza. The air crackled with excitement as I joined the throngs of eager attendees, all united by a shared love for music and good times.

As I navigated through the crowd, I was struck by the festival's inclusive vibe. With 4500 attendees of all ages mingling freely, there was a sense of unity that transcended generational boundaries. From the youngest festival-goers to the seasoned veterans, everyone was there to soak in the sounds and savor the experience.

Credit must be given where it's due, and the team from GIGBIG pulled out all the stops to ensure a flawless event. From the meticulously curated lineup to the strategically placed stages, every detail was executed to perfection. And let's not forget about the food and drinks – with a wide array of options to choose from, no palate was left unsatisfied.

But the real highlight of the festival? Seeing the legendary Regurgitator take the stage once again. As a child of the '90s, I was in complete froth overload as they belted out their hits, transporting many of us back to our youth.

As the festival drew to a close, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for being a part of such a memorable event. Hats off to Ben and his team for orchestrating a truly unforgettable experience. And with the resounding success of this year's festival, I, for one, am already counting down the days until the next installment of River Sounds.

Until next time, Bellingen. Until next time.
